Barbara Ann Fondren Lehrmann, 82, of Mart, passed from this life into Heaven to meet our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Saturday, August 02, 2025, with loved ones by her side.
A visitation will be held Saturday, August 09, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. and a Celebration of Life Service at 2:00 p.m., at Littlepage Funeral Home, 711 East Texas Avenue, Mart, Texas 76664. Pastor David Moore, longtime family friend will officiate the service.
A private burial will take place on a later date.
Barbara was born June 6, 1943, in Ruston, LA to Damus Dudley “Jack” and Doris Evelyn Hill, Fondren. She attended school, in Ruston, LA and Corrigan TX. She married Curtis Jordan March 16, 1957, and they were married for 38 years. Together they had three children, Michael Eugene, Jacquelyn Michelle and Angela Kay. She had nine grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She married Kenneth Lehrmann of Mart, TX. December 27, 2008, and gained his three daughters, Karen, Gina and Denise, along with grandchildren and great grandchildren. They were married for 17 years.
She accepted Christ as her Savior and became a longtime, dedicated and faithful believer. She was a member of Damascus Missionary Baptist Church in Corrigan, TX for many years. She was a member at Parkview Baptist Church in Waco, TX, and attended Mart Baptist Church with Kenneth for some time. She loved Jesus and her hope was for all to know and love Him. She served in many different roles in her service to God. She was a piano player, WMA leader, VBS coordinator, camp sponsor, headed up the cooking committee, she and her family cleaned the church, and she served wherever and whenever needed. She opened her home to all, welcoming them with love and a smile. She loved serving her family, church family and community. She tried to be a blessing to all who knew her and that would allow her to be. She loved her family dearly. She was so full of life and loved to laugh and have fun. She was always ready for an adventure and thoroughly enjoyed going to the beach and experiencing the peacefulness of the waves and water along with the ocean’s beauty. She was always ready and loved to go! She loved to cook, sew, crochet, play the piano and craft.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Damus Dudley “Jack” and Doris Evelyn Hill, Fondren; grandparents Clarence and Nettie Hill and Damus and Myrtle Fondren, Aunts; Nell Bryant, Bernice Fondren, Evelyn Fondren, Uncles: Mac Hill, Cecil Hill, CJ Hill, Bill Hill, and Mac Fondren,
Survivors include her husband Kenneth Lehrmann and daughters of Mart, TX, son Michael Jordan of Corrigan, TX, Daughter Jackie Granger and husband Kenny of Brookeland, TX, daughter Angela Westerman and husband Dennis of Lorena, TX, grandchildren, great- grandchildren, brother, Billy Fondren and wife Jan, Aunt Bobby Hill, cousins Dee Edwards, Donna Hill, Lisa Bryant, and longtime friend, Belinda Ener & family.

We would like to thank Dr. Laren Miller and Sandra Earles, Hillcrest McArthur S & W Clinic, Dr. Marcia Henderson, Hillcrest S & W Pulmonary, Blue Bonnet Hospice, Waco, & The Meadows Memory Care, Gatesville, for the love and compassion shown while caring for Barbara. She was truly a great person and will be forever and deeply missed.
