It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Juanda Bramlett Manning, 95, of Cabot, Arkansas. Juanda passed away peacefully on Christmas Day, December 25, 2025, of natural causes.
Juanda was born on June 23, 1930, in Marlin, Texas, to the late Elmer and Clara (McBride) Bramlett. After growing up in Mart, Texas, she married her high school sweetheart, Tommy Manning, in 1948. Juanda worked as a secretary for many years, including her long tenure at Mexia State School, where she eventually retired.
She took great joy in cooking for family and friends and was well known for catering special events for the State School. In 2005, Juanda relocated to Cabot, Arkansas to live with family. She loved growing flowers and tending to her fishpond. She was gifted in craft work and embroidery. Her most treasured talent was creating beautiful hand-crafted Christmas ornaments that became family keepsakes. Her grandchildren were the joy of her later years, each receiving her full attention, encouragement, and wisdom.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Tommy; her parents, Elmer and Clara Bramlett; grandson, Todd Manning Newman; niece, Lesa Richardson, her closest friend, Elizabeth Hinton; and her cherished pets Ming, Joey and Geisha. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Dianne Newman (Nathan Barfield) and Kimberly Cutrer (Charles); her grandson, Joshua Newman; granddaughter, Ashton White; great‑grandson, Cayden Schales; her dear friend who was like a daughter, Yvonne Christian; nephew, Deric Bramlett; niece, Tessa Slovak; and many extended family members and friends. We take comfort in knowing she is reunited with her loved ones and resting in the everlasting peace of God’s presence.
Graveside services are scheduled for January 31, 2026 at 2 pm in Mart Cemetery.
