Richard Pina

It is with great sadness that the family of Richard Pina announces his passing on November 15, 2025 at the age of 46.

Richard was born on July 9, 1979 in Mexia, Texas. He graduated at Mart High School in 1998 to become a welder and he was a Jack of all trades. He could do anything to perfection. Richard could put up a building like no other and would help anyone he could.

He loved being with his family and watching them with his kids and nephews and niece playing games especially monopoly. Richard always knew how to host a cook out. He loved to grill and was someone special. You could never feel down when he was around because he made everyone feel like family. Richard was a great father, son, brother, brother-in-law and uncle.

Richard is survived by his father and mother, Mario Pina, Sr. and Blanca Pina; brother, Mario Pina, Jr.; sister, Iris DeLa Mora; 3 amazing kids, Tyler Pina, Tanner Pina and daughter Olivia Pina; brother-in-law, Abel DeLa Mora; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Chavez; daughter-in-law, Jessica Rittenbaugh; nephews, Abel Jr., Richard Pina, Mario Pina III; nieces, Itzel Duran, Cristal DeLa Mora, Iris DeLa Mora, Francascia Barnett; and great nephew, Kyle Elliott.
