Zohlan Miguel Evan Alfaro, 22, of Mart, Texas, passed away suddenly on April 7, 2026.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026, at First Methodist Church in Mart, Texas, at 11:00 pm and burial to follow at Mart Cemetery in Mart, Texas
Zohlan was born on April 23, 2003, to Roverto "Guss" Alfaro and Dania Chapman, he was not just a brother, but a best friend to many. He was a confidant and the biggest supporter.
He grew up in Mart/Waco area. Attending Mart High School, he excelled in extracurriculars, including band, football, and UIL. He furthered his education by obtaining a degree in Network Administration. If you saw him walking through the halls or downtown, he made an indelible impression on you and everyone around. He held his shoulders and head high with pride and confidence. Passions of his included real-world events and security intelligence. He obtained his first federal job only a few months before his passing that allowed him to start building a life.
Cooking became a hobby from old recipes and 90's mom to modern day and cultural cuisine. He loved learning and trying new things simple to complex. Coffee or drinks were quaranteed from his duties after your long day as well as a conversation at 2:00 am because you couldn't sleep. He was there to fix a broken car or chase your dog running down these Texas fields. Making you laugh was not difficult. It was impossible for him to not make you laugh or smile.
The day before his passing, he sent a picture with his feet propped up showing brothers, Prince and Lupe, and sister, Ashley, how proud he was to have a lawn chair with a foot stand. The smallest of things brightened his day. He had an appreciation for life and living in the moment, something he taught and guided others to do. Zohlan connected with others on a deeper level, understanding struggles and making them feel special. Everyone matters, and you have a purpose here.
Survivors include his loving siblings, Ashley Alfaro, Prince Alfaro, and Lupe Alfaro; his loving parents, Guss Alfaro and Dania Chapman; his loving aunts and uncles, Adam Alfaro, Charlnise Alfaro, Angelo Alfaro, Margaret Alfaro, Hollie Alfaro, Roger Crockett, Tina Crockett, Darrell Krumnow, Danielle Krumnow, and Tristan Chapman; his loving first cousins, Adam Jr. Alfaro, Fernando Alfaro, Adrian Alfaro, Anthony Alfaro, Annabella Ruger, Rose Krumnow, Anna Krumnow, Daniel Krumnow, and Tristan Chapman; and his loving grandparents, Arturo Alfaro, Martha Alfaro, Tris Chapman and Rose Chapman.
Flowers are welcome. Cash donations are accepted, delivered to Ashley.
